What happens on visit day
Your stylist arrives with a measuring tape, soil probe, and camera to document the full plot. We walk every border, note shade patterns at the current hour, and identify plants worth keeping versus those competing for light.
The session lasts up to two hours. You receive verbal recommendations in plain language — no jargon — and may ask questions about pruning timing, irrigation adjustments, or neighbour boundary planting.
Written summary delivered
Within five business days, a PDF lands in your inbox covering soil pH observations, drainage notes, and a ranked list of improvements. Each item includes estimated cost bands in CHF and suggested timing within the calendar year.
Photographs from the visit are annotated with arrows pointing to problem zones and opportunity areas. This document stands alone even if you never proceed to a full styling contract.

New homeowners inheriting an overgrown Bern garden often book consultation before calling contractors. Landlords preparing a rental property use our summary to brief gardeners without micromanaging every shrub.
Consultation also suits clients mid-renovation who need planting advice before patios are poured. Early input prevents costly replanting after hardscape is fixed.
Fee and booking
The consultation fee is CHF 420, payable when booking. Travel within 30 km of our Bundesgasse studio is included; beyond that, CHF 1.20 per kilometre applies.
Weekend slots carry a CHF 80 supplement. Reschedule with 48 hours notice at no charge; shorter notice forfeits the deposit unless we can fill the slot.
After consultation
Should you upgrade to a full residential concept within sixty days, we credit the full CHF 420 toward that package. Many clients proceed directly to seasonal planning once they see the priority list.
We never pressure upsells during the visit. The summary stands on its own merit, and third-party landscapers are welcome to implement our notes with your permission.
