Detached houses in Gümligen, row-house plots in Länggasse, and lake-view terraces in Thun all receive the same rigorous design process scaled to footprint. We style for how you actually use outdoor space — morning coffee corners, children's play sightlines, and evening dining light.
Apartments with shared courtyard access are accepted when managing agents grant site visit permission. Balcony-only projects start at CHF 2,100 for container schemes and railing-safe climbers.
Design phases
Phase one captures your lifestyle questionnaire and measures every bed, path, and elevation change. Phase two presents three concept boards showing colour palettes, key plants, and material samples for gravel, stone, and timber.
Phase three refines one direction into a final planting plan with quantities, spacing, and installation sequence. Two revision rounds are included; additional rounds are CHF 280 each.
Typical investment
Small urban gardens under 80 m²: CHF 3,800–CHF 5,400 for design deliverables. Medium suburban plots 80–250 m²: CHF 5,400–CHF 9,200. Large estate grounds above 250 m²: quoted individually from CHF 9,200.
These figures cover styling and documentation only. Plant supply, soil amendment, and labour are estimated separately with transparent nursery invoices passed through at cost.
Plant selection philosophy
We favour Swiss-proven species that tolerate Bern's cold snaps and clay-heavy soils. Native wildflower margins support pollinators without requiring chemical intervention. Invasive spreaders are excluded from all residential plans.
Fragrance, texture contrast, and winter silhouette matter as much as summer bloom. Every plan includes at least three evergreen anchors so the garden never reads bare between November and February.
Installation support
We offer optional installation supervision at CHF 95 per hour on planting days. Your contractor or our referred landscaper handles digging; we verify depth, spacing, and orientation against the plan.
A handover visit two weeks after installation checks establishment and adjusts staking or mulch where needed. This visit is included in packages above CHF 6,000.
